Lontar Handwoven

Considered by many Indonesian island communities as their tree of life, the lontar palm (Borassus flabellifer) provides both food and shelter for many. The bags sold by Lontar are handwoven in the traditional method from lontar tree fronds - they are both lightweight and strong - perfect for use as a market bag, day-to-day tote or to give as a gift.

This brand identity needed to feel authentic, hand-made and minimalist; with the emphasis on the quality and inherent beauty of the product.
